How do I use the call exporter?

SightSpeed PLUS users have a relatively unpublicized feature - the ability to
record a conference in real time. Here’s how to use it:

1) While in call, look underneath the video window for the Call Controls. You’ll see a button labeled Record Call. Press this button to start the recording. The other party will receive a text notification saying that “Call Recording has started.” The button will then change to Stop Recording.
2) Lots of storage space is required - it is video, after all. The estimated record rate is 5 megabytes/minute for the remote stream and 6 megabytes/minute for the local stream. Keep this in mind when recording.
3) When you are finished recording, click the Stop Recording button. The other party will receive a text notification of this.
4) After recording, go to Actions and select Run Call Recording Exporter. When it opens, you’ll see a list of recent recordings, with a date and time stamp, as well as the local user (yourself) and the remote user (the one at the other end of the call).
5) Select the video you wish to use, then click Open Recording.
6) Next, choose your Video/Audio settings, and then the Output File Format. Don’t bother with the Local/Remote settings (this is for informational purposes only).
7) You can preview the file, but bear in mind that there is no audio in the preview. It is on the list to add that feature, but rest assured - there will be audio present in the exported files.
8) When you are satisfied with the video layout, click the Save button on the right. The file gets saved on windows to your user directory by default - c:\documents and settings\your user name, one level below your \my documents. (or in your Home directory on the Mac).
