Finding your way around SightSpeed – The Actions Menu
1. My Info - Click here to open the Account management screen and view a summary of your account information. You can also view and edit your Account and Billing information, Phone calling, Billing History, Call History, Video Mail History, Safety and Preferences. 2. My Display Image - Click here to set or change your display picture. Note. The display picture is the little picture shown next to your name in the address Book. 3. My Messages - Go here to view or listen to Video or Voice mail messages left for you. Included are calls and messages you’ve received from: 1. Video Mail Messages 2. Missed Calls (Video and Voice) 3. Voicemail Messages 4. Add a Contact - Click here to add, delete or invite contacts to your contact list. Note a contact can be added with an email address or phone number. 5. Start a Video chat - Click here to make a PC to PC Video or Voice call. You can also go here by clicking the video call or voice call icon on your Contacts list. 6. Create a Video Mail - Click here to record and send a Video Mail. You can also go here by clicking the Video mail & Blogs Tab. 7. Call a Phone number - Click here to make a phone call to anywhere in the world. Be it to a conventional phone in Chicago or a cell phone in Rome, SightSpeed’s award winning Voice over IP technology makes calling any one simple and incredibly inexpensive. You can also go here by clicking the Telephone Mini-Tab located under the Video & Voice Calls Tab. 8. Start a Group Chat - Click here to initiate Multi-Party Conference (4 contact maximum for Plus users and 9 contact maximum for Business users). You can also go here by clicking the Multi-Party mini-tab located under the Video & Voice Calls Tab. 9. Run Call Recording Exporter - Click here to retrieve voice and video calls that you have recorded from the Call Exporter. You can also go here by clicking your “Start” menu, then “All Programs”, then SightSpeed. 10. End Chat - This allows you to end the video or voice call. You can also end the call by clicking the “End Call” icon displayed during a call. 11. Sign Out - Click here to sign out of your SightSpeed interface. Note* signing out is a NOT the same as Exiting, Closing or minimizing. It is also important to note that closing or minimizing the SightSpeed Interface does not automatically sign you out. 12. Exit - Click here to exit out of the SightSpeed interface. The exit function disengages the SightSpeed Interface completely. Note* Exiting SightSpeed automatically logs you out of the Interface.
Finding your way around SightSpeed – The Settings Menu
1. Camera Settings – Click here to select your camera (Video input device) and access the Advanced Camera Options to further modify its settings. 2. Internet Connection Settings – Click here to specify the type and speed of your internet connection. 3. Speaker Settings – Click here to select your Speakers (audio output device), set the speaker volume and run the speaker test. 4. Microphone Settings – Click here to select your Microphone (audio input device), modify its settings and run a Microphone test. 5. Optional Settings - Click here to personalize and specify miscellaneous settings for your SightSpeed interface. 6. Contact list - Click here to edit how your contact list is displayed. 7. Change Language – Click here select or change your language in SightSpeed. Finding your way around SightSpeed – The My Account Menu
1. Summary – Click here to view a summary of your account information. Here you can edit your Current Service Plan Email Address, Personal Profile and Community Profile 2. Account Information - Click here to view and/or edit your a. Current Service Plan
3. Billing Information – Click here view or edit your billing information 4. Phone Calling – Click here to view your phone (Voice call) information including Phone Out balance and an option to add credit to the phone out account. a. View and increase your current phone out/ balance 5. Billing History - Chronological lisitng of Billing transactions. 6. Call History - Chronological lisitng of incoming and outgoing calls. 7. Video Mail History - Chronological lisitng of Video Mails. 8. Safety - Click here to setup the Parental Key, Parental Controls and to Block contacts. 9. Preferences - Click here select or unsubscribe to SightSpeed periodical mailings
Finding your way around SightSpeed – The Help Menu
1. Online Help/FAQs – Go here to access the SightSpeed Support page that includes our knowledge base of Commonly asked questions and other helpful information about SightSpeed. 2. Submit Help Request – Go here to suggest a new feature in SightSpeed or to ask a question via email. This is also the place that you send a debug log(a diagnostic report of your most recent session) to support. It is sent automatically with each request. 3. About – Go here to find out what version and Build of SightSpeed you are using.
Finding your way around SightSpeed – Video and Voice Call Tab, Mini-Tabs
1. The Video & Voice Calls Tab/Main Mini-Tab – Go here to make a Video or Voice call. This is also known as the main Mini-Tab. It is the default screen under the Video or Voice Calls Tab that shows the Video image and contact list.
3. Multi-Party Mini-Tab – Go here to initiate Multi-Party Conference (4 contact maximum). Note. For PLUS users and above
4. Community – Meet people around the world who use SightSpeed? With SightSpeed Community you can: • Make or receive calls from other users in the exciting new SightSpeed Community.
5. Call History – Here you’ll find a record of all outbound calls made as well as all inbound calls received. *Note for PLUS users and above.
