If you've come this far you're on your way to one of the most exciting experiences you’ve ever encountered – Dell Video Chat.
You probably saw the icon on your desktop or in your Start menu and were curious to see what it was all about. Well, we're glad you did!
Dell Video Chat is video communication made easy. All the components you need are already a part of your laptop so all you need to do is start making a list of family, friends, and associates to speak to. It’s just that simple.
Here… let’s get started and I’ll show you how.
Find the Dell Video Chat button on your system.
It will be in one of a few locations…
On your desktop…

Or in your Start Menu

Once you select the Dell Video Chat link the following page will appear on your desktop and you’re 3 easy steps away from live video chat with your family, friends, and associates
Step 1 – Click the “Get Started” link below

Step 2 - Create an account

Step 3 – Add your contacts

That’s it!

Once you click “Start Dell Video Chat” you’re ready to begin your first Video Chat.

You should see yourself in the Dell Video Chat window.

Tips for existing SightSpeed users trying Dell Video Chat for the first time
o You will not be able to use your SightSpeed ID or your SightSpeed email address (the one used for your SightSpeed account) in Dell Video Chat or vice versa. A new account will need to be created with a different ID and email address.
o While you can import contacts from your web based email you will not be able to import your contacts from your SightSpeed user account.
o SightSpeed and Dell Video Chat can not be run concurrently .i.e. you are logged into SightSpeed you will not be able to start up Dell Video Chat. No error message to thiis effect will be displayed.
You must exit SightSpeed to use Dell video Chat and vice versa.
