1. Browse to www.SightSpeed.com and click on Download

2. Click on the 'New Members' link

3. You will be directed to the account creation page.   Fill out the form completely.  Be sure to read the usage terms and click the box if you agree to the terms.  Then click “Continue”

4. Now that you’ve created your SightSpeed account you should see the page below.  You are now ready to download and install the application.

5. Once you click the download button you’ll need to choose the appropriate operating system your computer uses so that we give you the correct version.  You’ll also notice that our minimum system requirements are listed here.  This information will allow you to make sure your system has all the components needed to successfully use SightSpeed.

6. After clicking on the download link for your appropriate operating system a Security Warning dialog box like the one below will appear on the screen.   You’ll be given the options to “Run, Save or Cancel”.  Click  'Run'

6a.  Note - Some Internet Explorer users may have a security setting that blocks downloading.  If a gold bar similar to the one below appears at the top of your browser window you’ll need to Click on the gold bar to allow SightSpeed to install.

7. Once you click Run, the SightSpeed application will begin to download.   You can monitor the download progress by the percentage meter and progress bar.

8. Once downloaded the Installation dialog box will appear on screen.   You’ll be given the options to “Run or Don’t Run”.   Click “Run”

9. Once you click Run installation of the SightSpeed application will begin.   You can monitor the installation progress by the progress bar.

10. Once the installation is complete a Language Selection dialog box will appear on the screen.  Click on the arrow and select the appropriate language from the drop down menu.   Now click on “OK”.  

At this point you have successfully registered and installed SightSpeed. Installation will now automatically proceed to the “Preferences/Configuration Wizard”

You’re now ready to proceed to the Preferences/Configuration Wizard section.
