"Dell Video Chat by SightSpeed - Excellent Technically and Commercially
The new Dell and SightSpeed clients are still as compact, visually appealing and efficient as the previous versions were, only better. Place the mouse cursor on the line for a contact, and you see buttons for video call, audio call, text chat, or video messaging - but only the buttons which are applicable to that contact. My Mom had installed Dell Video Chat, found my user name, sent a video email and initiated a video chat. ALL WITHOUT A TECH SUPPORT CALL .. to me! Phase one of the “mom test” passed with flying colors.
The quality was excellent. Setup was a breeze. This will make an excellent everyday video web chat. It’s so easy that if you’re not interested in regular online chats that you could use the service for special family get togethers to join distant members of your family by video.

Dell Video Chat - A Coup for SightSpeed
"Dell made several announcements today. The one which caught my eye was "Dell Video Chat powered by SightSpeed". Dell Partners with SightSpeed for Video Chat

Today Dell Computer announced it will be bundling Dell Video Chat (a custom-designed, re-branded version of SightSpeed, officially dubbed 'Dell Video Chat powered by SightSpeed') with its slick, new, consumer-focused Studio line of laptops, confirming our impression that video over IP has rapidly been moving toward mainstream status."

SightSpeed Goes Mainstream with Dell Video Chat
"I was pleasantly surprised. The SightSpeed software installed easily on my Mac, and the video conversation with Mr. Csathy was crisp, smooth and effortless as compared to any I've tried with Skype. Dell Launches SightSpeed-Powered Video Conferencing on PCs

The inclusion of this application will bring simple video conferencing amongst the new Dell users and will allow them to interface with friends, family, and colleagues who are on Windows, Linux, or Apple computers."

"The folks at SightSpeed continue to quietly amaze. As I mentioned last week, SightSpeed was going to announce 9-way video conferencing, and they did exactly that for their SightSpeed Business customers. SightSpeed Business customers can now talk to up to 9 people simultaneously on a video call with prices starting at $19.95 a month per user. My experience with SightSpeed's 4-way video calling was pretty good. I'm told, though I haven't yet tested it myself, that the 9-way calling is even better thanks to some work they did on the server end. Keeping 9 videos in sync is quite a feat to say the least!"

"I spent part of the weekend trying out the new SightSpeed build that I mentioned Friday. WOW. There is so much more to this – it seemed like the more I looked, the more I found and the better it got. My favorite part of this (SightSpeed) release, though, is all of the little things that have been changed and improved. I'm a very detail-oriented person, and I tend to notice things that a lot of other people don't, or that they see and just shrug off. The fact that SightSpeed has noticed these things, and taken the time and effort to fix or improve them, indicates to me that their developers are paying attention, they care about their product down to the smallest details, and they are really trying to make it the best that they can for their users.
