Dell Launches SightSpeed-Powered Video Conferencing on PCs

As I mentioned last week, SightSpeed was going to announce 9-way video conferencing, and they did exactly that for their SightSpeed Business customers. SightSpeed Business customers can now talk to up to 9 people simultaneously on a video call with prices starting at $19.95 a month per user. My experience with SightSpeed's 4-way video calling was pretty good. I'm told, though I haven't yet tested it myself, that the 9-way calling is even better thanks to some work they did on the server end. Keeping 9 videos in sync is quite a feat to say the least!"

"I spent part of the weekend trying out the new SightSpeed build that I mentioned Friday.  WOW.  There is so much more to this – it seemed like the more I looked, the more I found and the better it got. My favorite part of this (SightSpeed) release, though, is all of the little things that have been changed and improved. I'm a very detail-oriented person, and I tend to notice things that a lot of other people don't, or that they see and just shrug off. The fact that SightSpeed has noticed these things, and taken the time and effort to fix or improve them, indicates to me that their developers are paying attention, they care about their product down to the smallest details, and they are really trying to make it the best that they can for their users. Impressively, the current SightSpeed version lets users do real-time video recording as well as five-person conference calls without any time lag. It also lets you make overseas calls via the PC.
