 | Peter D. Csathy Chief Executive Officer
Peter is CEO of SightSpeed and is a digital media veteran. Csathy previously served as president and COO of Musicmatch, Inc., where he was responsible for driving the company's distribution and content strategies, managing strategic partnerships, and overseeing the company's business development, sales, legal and finance activities. Yahoo! acquired Musicmatch in 2004. Prior to Musicmatch, Csathy served as COO of eNow, Inc., a subscription-based technology company delivering breaking news and information. Csathy also previously served as a Senior Vice President at Universal Studios and held executive positions at New Line Cinema and Savoy Pictures. In these roles, and among other things, Csathy drove strategic distribution, marketing and technology partnerships, international joint ventures, and acquisitions. Csathy received his J.D. from the Harvard Law School, and his B.A., summa cum laude, in political science from the University of Minnesota.

 | Scott Lomond President & Chief Operating Officer
Scott has over 16 years of experience working in high-technology, management consulting and financial services. Prior to joining SightSpeed, he was General Manager for the enterprise software division of Ask Jeeves in Emeryville, CA. Prior to working at Ask Jeeves, Scott held various positions with Arthur Andersen, Iomega, and Society National Bank Corporation (now KeyCorp).
Scott holds a BS degree in Finance from the University of Dayton, and an MBA in Marketing and Organizational Management from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.

 | Aron Rosenberg Founder & Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Rosenberg has over seven years of research, development, operational and management experience at both startups, academic institutions and large corporations. Most recently Aron was the Senior Researcher at Cornell University's DISCOVER Lab where he was responsible for day-to-day operations and long term research. He is also the author of publications in the field of high performance video. His work experience also includes various roles at Carr America, Naval Surface Warfare Center, and DSR, Inc. He has received awards from the National Security Agency and the United States Army for excellence in Applied Mathematics.
Aron holds a B.S.e from Cornell University with a Major in Electrical Engineering and a Minor in Human-Computer Interaction. Aron is an IEEE and CSE member.

 | Bruce Carlson Vice President, Engineering
Bruce is a pioneering web engineer. He lead the development of two of the leading real estate web portals, architected the first commercial deployment of Sun's Java Servlet API and authored a regular column in the first Java server-side magazine. He previously served as Vice President of the Patrician Companies (now Deutsche Banc) and Chief Technology Officer of E-Close, Inc. which developed integrated on-line real estate settlement management systems.
Bruce earned his B.S. and M.B.A. from The University of Akron and his J.D. from The Washington College of Law of The American University.

 | Eric Quanstrom Vice President, Marketing
Eric brings a rare combination of media, technology and marketing experience to the role of VP, Consumer Marketing and Business Development at SightSpeed. Previously, Quanstrom served as Director of Marketing & Sales for Appellation America, one of the most innovative online wine portals to hit the Web in years. Prior to this, Quanstrom held various management positions with DocuComp software and News Corporation, including an impressive stint as West Coast head of the Fox Online Properties (FoxSports.com, FoxNews.com, Fox.com). Eric holds an M.B.A. with an emphasis in Marketing from San Francisco State University and a B.A. degree in Journalism from San Diego State University.

 | Brad Treat Founder
Mr. Treat has over ten years of operational, financial, and business strategy experience at both startups and large corporations. Most recently Brad worked at Latona Associates, a private equity merchant bank. Prior to Latona he worked in engineering and management capacities at Bowles Fluidics and GKN Automotive where he was responsible for engineering, operations, and personnel management within the high precision, high volume industrial units.
Brad holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University and an MBA from Cornell University.

 | Toby Berger Founder & Research Consultant
Dr. Berger is the Irwin and Joan Jacobs Professor of Engineering at Cornell University. A Cornell faculty member for more than 30 years, Professor Berger has supervised some 40 MS/Ph.D. students, 100 MEng design project students and dozens of undergraduate researchers. He is the director of Cornell's DISCOVER Lab, which he founded in 1990 and in which SightSpeed was developed under the CU30 program. Professor Berger teaches courses in information theory, communications, networking, and stochastic signal processing. He is renowned for his articles and books on efficient coding of information sources. Professor Berger has served the IEEE Information Theory Society as a member of its Board of Governors, as its past president, as an associate editor and as the editor-in-chief of the IEEE Transactions on Information Theory. He is a Fellow of the IEEE, a Guggenheim Fellow, a Fulbright Fellow, and an IEEE Millennium Medal recipient. Professor Berger was recently designated the 2002 recipient of the Shannon Award, the IEEE IT Society's highest honor. His distinguished career at Cornell University began in 1968 after completing his undergraduate studies at Yale and his graduate work at Harvard.

 | Eric Tveter Chairman of the Board
Mr. Tveter brings to SightSpeed more than 24 years of experience in cable television, Internet ventures, and wireline and wireless telecommunications services ventures. Tveter was most recently President and Chief Operating Officer of Telewest Global, a major broadband communications and media group based in the UK. While at Telewest, Tveter spearheaded the company's turnaround prior to its recent merger with NTL. Prior to Tveter's position at Telewest, he was executive vice president and Chief Operating Officer of NYSE-traded Mastec.
Additional experience in the telecommunications industry includes executive positions with Cablevision Lightpath, Metromedia International, Paramount Pictures and Warner-Amex Cable. He also served as a managing director of one of Comcast Corporation's UK ventures. Mr. Tveter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Accounting from Long Island University, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and an M.B.A. in Marketing from Rutgers University.

 | Roger Strauch Director
Roger is chairman of The Roda Group, a venture development company based in Berkeley, California. His firm, co-founded in 1997 with Dan Miller, provides entrepreneurs the environment, resources, and guidance to launch and grow their high technology businesses. Roger is the former CEO of Symmetricom, a communications equipment manufacturer in San Jose. In 1983, Roger and Dan Miller co-founded TCSI Corp., a telecom software company based in Alameda, California. As TCSI's chairman and CEO, Mr. Strauch was responsible for growing the company from start-up to over $60M in annual revenues. In 1991 TCSI completed a successful IPO. Prior to TCSI, Mr. Strauch was a senior staff engineer at Hughes Aircraft's Space and Communications Group where he was responsible for designing communications payloads for military satellites. Mr. Strauch earned a Bachelor of Science degree, with distinction, from Cornell University and a Master of Science degree from Stanford University, both in electrical engineering. He holds two patents in the area of wireless communications.

 | Dan Miller Director
Mr. Miller is Managing Director of the Roda Group. He is the former president of Ask Jeeves, Inc., a Roda Group affiliate company. He is currently working with a number of Roda Group affiliated companies to assist them with their business development efforts. At the end of 1994, he retired from his position as Executive Vice President of TCSI Corporation (Nasdaq: TCSI), a company he co-founded with his Roda Group partner, Roger Strauch. Mr. Miller retired from the Board of Directors of TCSI in June of 1997. TCSI is a leading provider of integrated software products and services for the global telecommunications industry. Prior to TCSI, Mr. Miller was a systems engineer at Hughes Aircraft's Space and Communications Group where he was responsible for designing communications payloads for commercial communications satellites. Mr. Miller received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, with distinction, from Cornell University and his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. He holds three patents in the areas of compression technolog and wireless communications systems.

 | Ken Goldman Director
Ken Goldman has served as Senior Vice President, Finance and Administration, and Chief Financial Officer of Siebel Systems since August 2000. Prior to Siebel Systems, he served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Excite@Home. From 1992 to 1996, Mr. Goldman served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Sybase, Inc. Other Chief Financial Officer positions that Mr. Goldman has held were with Cypress Semiconductor and VLSI Technology. Mr. Goldman earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Cornell University in 1971 and received his master's degree in business administration from Harvard Business School in 1974.

 | Andy Abramson Mr. Abramson is CEO of Comunicano, Inc., a Del Mar, CA based asymmetrical marketing and public relations agency and is one of the most respected commentators of the subject of next generation communications. In addition to overseeing Comunicano's client related activities, he also authors one of the most widely read VoIP Blogs, Andy Abramson's VoIPWatch and, since 1998, has served as co-host of KenRadio's "World Technology RoundUp" which is heard on CBS Radio and downloaded by over 200,000 listeners per day. Abramson has a parallel background in technology, consumer, B2B, sports and entertainment marketing that spans 32 years. Prior to founding Comunicano in 1992 Abramson was a core member of the marketing team that grew The Upper Deck Company and a member of the account management team at Foote, Cone & Belding's/IMPACT-Los Angeles. He also spent 14 years in professional sports team marketing management with the Denver Nuggets, Philadelphia Flyers and Philadelphia Wings, with whom he began his Public Relations career at the age of 14.

 | Bill Stensrud Mr. Stensrud brings over 35 years of engineering marketing expertise to SightSpeed. He started his career in research positions for MIT developing data communications systems until 1974. Since then he's played major leadership positions in the telecom and technology sectors for companies such as AT&T, StrataCom (later acquired by Cisco), Primary Access and 3Com., where he was critical to the growth, initial public offering, and acquisition of several technology companies. Transitioning to private investing and venture capital, Mr. Stensrud played a critical leadership role in Juniper Networks' initial business formation and their leveraged buy-out of Paradyne Corp from Lucent Technologies. He continues to serve on the board of Directors of Juniper. As a General Partner for Enterprise Partners, he invested in communications equipment, software, and services industries. He is now a private investor. Mr. Stensrud's family includes his wife Carol and their three children. He has served on the Board of Scripps Health, the Neurosciences Institute, the San Diego Telecom Council, the University of California at San Diego Foundation and the National Venture Capital Association and is a past President of the San Diego Opera.

 | Gary Arlen Mr. Arlen is President of Arlen Communications Inc., a Washington, D.C. based research and consulting firm specializing in converging telecommunications, media and information services. Mr. Arlen’s primary focus is on new applications and policy implications of broadband, interactive and digital media systems for residential and enterprise deployments. He is also a partner in the Alwyn Group LLC, a competitive services consultancy. For more than 25 years, Arlen has conducted extensive research on business development and customer acceptance of new telecom/media technologies. His recent focus has included "triple play" deployment (voice + data + video) and the markets for such services and his clients have included AT&T, Discovery Communications, Sony, Microsoft, Intel and the National Football League.
Arlen was a founder and director of the group known as the Internet Alliance and is currently a director of NTN Communications (Amex: NTN). He also has created and published several trade newsletters and has written on-going analytical commentaries for industry periodicals, including Multichannel News, Washington Technology and Telecommunications Reports.

 | Kim Niederman Mr. Niederman is President and CEO of Anagran, Inc., the developer of a high capacity network appliance built to handle interactive and streaming applications e.g. Video Conferencing, VoIP, Gaming at a rate of 4,000,000 simultaneous flows.
Kim brings to SightSpeed experience building high performance sales teams and go-to-market strategies at Cisco Systems, Polycom, Inc., FORE Systems and Wang Laboratories. As SVP, Worldwide Sales at Polycom, Inc. Kim increased sales from $360M to over $700M in three years by creating new Sales and Channel strategies.
Kim was also CEO of LongBoard, Inc., a leader in software-based Class 5 IP services platforms and CEO of Magellan Network Systems, one of the first Calling Card Platforms. Prior to LongBoard, he was Vice President of Sales for start-up RadioLAN, the first developer of 10MB WLANs and Vice President of Sales at FORE Systems, where he doubled sales to over $225M within twelve months and merged FORE's $800 million acquisition of Alantec.
As one of the early Sales Executives at Cisco Systems in the early 1990’s, he served in various executive capacities. Kim managed Cisco’s first Business Unit that was comprised of acquisitions Crescendo, Kalpana and Grand Junction, propelling sales from a $14 million to a $400 million run rate in little over a year. Earlier in his career, he held executive sales management positions at Wang Laboratories and served as CEO of Hallmark Industries.
Mr. Niederman has been a Board Member and Technical Advisor to several Silicon Valley startups. He holds a B.A. in political science from the University of Denver and has completed executive programs at University of Chicago GSB.

 | Pete Hanley Pete has 42 years experience in advertising and marketing on both the agency and client side. He began his career at Dancer-Fitzgerald-Sample (now Saatchi & Saatchi) in 1964 in New York, where he directed advertising activities for many of the agency’s leading clients, including General Mills, Procter & Gamble, 3M, Borden Foods and Wendy’s. During his 14 years at DFS, Pete gained experience in a wide range of consumer categories, including packaged foods, soaps and detergents, health & beauty aids, retail, automotive, financial, fashion and fast food. He was appointed Vice President of DFS in 1970 at age 28, the youngest VP in the history of the Agency.
From 1972 to 1974, Pete left the agency business to join PepsiCo Japan, Ltd., in Tokyo, where he served as VP of marketing for Japan and the Pac Rim. In 1981, Pete joined J. Walter Thompson and spent the next 10 years managing key accounts in both their Washington and New York offices. Later, from 1991 to 1993, Pete served at Young & Rubicam, New York, where he was the EVP, Account Management Director on the agency’s $260 million worldwide AT&T business. In the Fall of 1993, Pete was appointed President of Arnold Communications in McLean Virginia and led the Agency’s growth from $15 million to $156 million, lifting the agency from 13th in the market to number one in only three years. Arnold Advertising was acquired in 1998 by Dan Snyder, owner of the Washington Redskins, and Pete left in the spring of 1999 to pursue a new career in Strategic Internet Marketing with Solven.com, a company he co-founded.
For the next year he provided strategic planning for a number of companies who were committed to an e-Business Internet solution. Solven.com was merged into Immedient Corp. in May, 2000, and Pete later left in February, 2001 to become President of the Strategic Planning Group at PlanNet. PlanNet also provides professional Meeting Management services and online conference registration for meetings, conferences and incentives for organizations based in the United States and abroad (www.YourMeeting.com).

 | Ted Cohen Mr. Cohen is Managing Partner of TAG Strategic, a leading global digital media and entertainment solutions firm. Previously, Cohen served as Senior Vice President of Digital Development & Distribution for EMI Music where he oversaw worldwide digital business development for the record company, which includes labels such as Capitol, Virgin, Angel/Blue Note, Parlophone and Chrysalis. A thirty-year veteran of the entertainment world, Mr. Cohen is a respected thought leader in digital media and has consulted on new media and technology to Amazon.com, Microsoft, Universal Studios New Media, DreamWorks Records, Liquid Audio, Wherehouse Records/Checkout.com and various other entertainment, technology and new media organizations. Cohen also has held senior management positions at both Warner Bros. Records and Philips Media. | |
